Pushkar is a town flanking the Thar Desert, in the northeastern Indian province of Rajasthan. It’s determined to Pushkar Lake, a consecrated Hindu site with 52 ghats (stone staircases) where travelers bathe.
The town has several sanctuaries, including fourteenth century Jagatpita Brahma Mandir, committed to the lord of creation, which has an unmistakable red tower and dividers trimmed with explorers’ silver coins.
