Neemuch Madhya Pradesh

Neemuch or Nimach is a town in the Malwa district of the Indian territory of Madhya Pradesh. The town imparts its northeastern fringe to territory of Rajasthan and is the regulatory home office of Neemuch District. Once a substantial British cantonment of Gwalior royal state, in 1822 the town turned into the central station of the consolidated Rajputana– Malwa political organization and of the Malwa Agency in 1895.

The British Cantonment was disbanded in 1932 after which it was kept up by a British Municipal Board. Neemuch was the origin of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in 1939 and is home to an extensive scale armed force enlistment community for the association. The CRPF still keeps up some portion of Neemuch’s British Military Cantonment, which was the first of its kind in India.
