Vagamon or Wagamon is a slope station situated in Idukki locale of Kerala, India. Hardly any range is situated in Kotayam area moreover. Vagamon was found by the British who found the place perfect for tea manors and they were trailed by Christian teachers who assembled their homestead benefit at Kurisumala in Vagamon.
National Geographic Traveler has recorded Vagamon on their catalog of the “50 most appealing spots to visit in India”. Still untouched by commercialisation, the tired town with its picturesque valleys, delightful green glades, charming pine woodlands, fogs, mists, tea domains, waterfalls with the general greenery is truly striking. The scene is for the most part sloping bare with green knolls.
