MÄjuli or Majoli is a stream island in the Brahmaputra River, Assam, India and the first island region of the nation.
The island had an aggregate range of 1,250 square kilometers (483 sq mi) toward the start of the twentieth century, yet having lost altogether to disintegration it had a territory of just 352 square kilometers (136 sq mi) in 2014.
