Doda is a locale in eastern piece of Jammu area of the Indian province of Jammu and Kashmir. The locale comprises of 8 squares: Bhagwa, Assar, Doda, Gundana, Marmat, Bhaderwah, Gandoh (Bhalessa), and Thathri.
The Doda region comprises of territories drawn from the antiquated realms of Kishtwar and Bhadarwah, both of which were a piece of a region by the name of “Udhampur” in the august territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
