The Present Amet Haveli Was worked amid the lead of Maharana Jagat Singh Ji –2nd of Udaipur between 1734-1752 A.D. He was the developer of the well known Jag Niwas which is by and by known as Lake Palace. All the stone work and crude materials for the development of Lake Palace were carried from the open land arranged by exhibit day AMET HAVELI.
Amid that time the Jagirdar of Sadargarh was the leader of the development work for the Mewar state. Under his vigilant gazes he built the Jag Niwas island royal residence for the Maharana of Mewar.
