McLeod Ganj Dharamshala

With a normal height of 2,082 meters above ocean level, McLeod Ganj is named after Sir Donald Friell McLeod who was the Lieutenant-Governor of Punjab under whom the range was produced. 

The place is known for its different attractions including the home of the fourteenth Dalai Lama. The place is a standout amongst the most frequented spots in Dharamshala and is well known for its Tibetan culture, handiworks and sanctuaries.
